About Yi-Hsuan Lin

Yi-Hsuan Rachel Lin practices exclusively in the area of employment law since May 2015. She has worked on a variety of single-plaintiff employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation cases against private and public employers in state and federal courts. She also represents whistleblowers under the California Labor Code, federal False Claims Act, and other equivalent state acts. Her work includes all aspects of case management including drafting pleadings and motion papers, arguing motions in state and federal courts, handling written discovery, taking and defending lay and expert depositions, negotiating in mediations, and preparing for trial/arbitration. She also drafted a successful writ of mandate filed with the California Second District Court of Appeal. Rachel takes pride in advocating on behalf of her clients who have been wronged by their employers’ unfair treatment. Since joining Clark Employment Law, she has obtained numerous successful results (and only successful results) for the clients.

Rachel earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Southwestern Law School in 2015. During law school, she was a judicial extern for the Honorable Goodwin Liu at the California Supreme Court, a judicial extern for the Honorable Dean Pregerson at the Central District Court of California, and a legal extern at the ACLU of Southern California. Rachel was a member of the Southwestern Moot Court Honors Program. She, as the brief writer, along with two other team members, as oralists, represented Southwestern to compete in the Bryant-Moore Civil Rights Moot Court Competition and received the “Best Brief Award” and “Best Overall Team Award.” Before law school, Ms. Lin worked as a paralegal in a civil litigation law firm for 7 years, which experience inspired her to earn a juris doctor degree.

Rachel is fluent in reading, writing, and speaking Chinese.
