About Timothy Rensch

Timothy Rensch has been practicing Personal Injury and Criminal Law in the Black Hills for over 30 years. Past cases have included murder, rape, drug charges, and serious injury matters. Timothy is a fellow of the American Board of Criminal Lawyers and a lifetime member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He has twice been the president of the Black Hills Criminal Defense Bar, and is also a member of the American Association of Trial Lawyers and the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association.

In 2017, Timothy received the Criminal Defense Lawyer of the Year Award by the South Dakota Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. In the same year, he was honored as the Trial Lawyer of the Year by the South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association.
