About Stephanie Mendez

Stephanie Mendez attended law school in Orange County, CA, and passed the California State Bar on the first attempt. She first became interested in Family Law while interning at The Legal Clinic, in Fullerton, CA. After graduating law school, Stephanie began working at a local law firm in San Diego, CA, where she handled all aspects of family law, including child custody and visitation, child support, paternity actions, divorce actions, domestic violence issues, and spousal support. She is well versed in the complexities of family law, and the emotions that are involved. Her goal is to guide the client and help navigate through the many stages of a family law proceeding, from initiation to finalization, with empathy, compassion, and honesty, and minimal financial stress.

Stephanie Mendez has extensive knowledge of the particular and unique needs of the United States Military in family law cases, which include how to handle deployments and extensive training in conjunction with custody issues, military incentives such as B.A.H, B.A.S, base housing, and others in relation to support issues, retirements, thrift savings plans, and other military specific issues.

Stephanie Mendez is dedicated to providing comprehensive legal services at a reasonable cost. She is a member of the North County Bar Association, and licensed to practice in California Superior Courts, as well as California Federal Courts. She's honest, compassionate and ethical.
