Stephanie was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a minor in sociology. She subsequently relocated to Phoenix AZ, where she then graduated with her law degree from Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona State University.

Before family law, Stephanie had expertise in complicated and catastrophic personal injury law.
