About Spiro Verras

A graduate of Yale and Tulane, Spiro’s professional background includes estate planning and probate, corporate and business law, real estate and closings, intellectual property, immigration and civil litigation, with experience in serious personal injury and probate litigation. He has handled class actions, consumer protection and privacy matters, and has pursued claims against major financial institutions on behalf of defrauded customers, and he has tirelessly championed civil rights suits. A native of Tarpon Springs, Florida, Spiro was formerly a partner at Jones, Verras & Freiberg, a New Orleans-based multistate law firm. After returning to the Tampa Bay area, Spiro served as managing partner of the Bilirakis Law Group and was also a co-founder of the groundbreaking Unthink social media project, which sought to empower individuals and provide comprehensive privacy and ownership rights. Throughout his career, Spiro has been a zealous advocate for his clients, and he brings the same passion to his estate planning and transactional work. Spiro’s current practice focuses on estate planning, probate and trusts, real estate and closings, civil litigation, corporate and commercial transactions.
