About Shiven Patel

He also represented NDRN, and the nation’s disability community, on Capitol Hill on various issues impacting the disability community, such as inaccessible transportation, education, and the institutionalization of people with disabilities.
Shiven also worked with American Airlines in the Government and Regulatory Affairs office where he attended hearings and meetings on Capitol Hill in order to alert the airline’s leadership on key policy and regulatory issues that affected the daily operations of the airline.
Additionally, Shiven served with the Harris County Attorney’s Office in Houston, Texas where he assisted in the litigation of public nuisance lawsuits to protect the citizens of the State of Texas from habitual criminal activity such as illegal gambling, human trafficking, and drug trafficking.
