About Schoen Parnell

I am Schoen Parnell (pronounced “Shane”), a leading criminal defense attorney in Washington. I have over twenty years of experience defending individuals and protecting their rights. I am the former lead jury trial attorney for one of the busiest DUI defense law firms in Washington. I have extensive knowledge of the DUI process and am never afraid to go to trial.

Over the past 20 years, I've tried hundreds of cases and have spoke at DUI seminars for Washington criminal defense attorneys. I am an active member of both the National College for DUI Defense (NCDD) and the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (WACDL).

I serve on WACDL’s legislative committee, which monitors proposed state legislation and testifies before the Washington state house and senate committees. This allows me to ensure that your rights are protected in the state legislature. It also helps me stay on top of changes in Washington law and to know how new laws affect defense strategies.
