About Ryan McAllister

Ryan McAllister is a founding partner of Ebner, Nevins & McAllister, LLC. He practices primarily in the areas of criminal defense and Driving Under The Influence Defense (DUI). He has successfully represented clients in all types of criminal matters, ranging from traffic offenses at the district justice level to jury trials involving serious felonies. Additionally, Attorney McAllister handles family law matters, including divorce, custody, and support. He also handles landlord / tenant matters in the magisterial district courts and the court of common pleas.

Mr. McAllister is a graduate of the Villanova University School of Law in Villanova, Pennsylvania, and the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. He is a member of the Berks County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

Attorney McAllister was previously employed as an Assistant Public Defender in Berks County, Pennsylvania. He was also a summer associate for a medium-sized civil litigation firm located in Center City Philadelphia, practicing in the areas of insurance defense, complex commercial litigation, and workers' compensation. During college and law school, Mr. McAllister gained experience working in the Homicide Unit of the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office as well as the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Attorney McAllister has defended a client charged with armed robbery who was facing a mandatory 5-10 year sentence if convicted. After the two-day jury trial, his client was acquitted of more than 25 charges. Additionally, Mr. McAllister has successfully defended against a "second-strike" felony aggravated assault, which carried a mandatory 10-20 year sentence if his client was convicted.

Attorney McAllister is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
