About Robert Abrams

Bob is an attorney and owner of the Abrams Law Group. He is a Family Law Attorney handling divorce, custody, support and domestic violence issues. Additionally, he has 40+ years of real property and business experience as well as many years in commercial banking. Bob is a licensed in California as an attorney, real estate broker and general contractor. He also has a lifetime community college teaching credential and teaches Property Law at the San Joaquin College of Law. Bob’s primary practice areas include real estate and Family Law (all aspects). and Wills and Trusts. The firm employs two associate attorneys who practice Real Estate, Criminal Law, Personal Injury and Bankruptcy and Civil Litigation to round out the practice and add depth.
Bob began his professional career in Commercial Banking where he financed small and medium sized businesses and real estate projects for construction, development and permanent financing. He negotiated problem loan settlements and established residential real estate lending offices throughout the San Joaquin Valley.
Upon leaving banking, Bob established and operated a full-service real estate company involved in construction and development, property management, consulting and sales.
Bob believes in giving back to the community. He currently serves as a Board Member of the Fresno Rescue Mission and as general counsel for Habitat for Humanity, Fresno County. He is also President of Fig Garden Rotary. He is a past president of the Fresno Association of Realtors as well as a former director of the California Association of Realtors and he is past president of the Community Housing Counsel of Fresno.
