Phillip “Reed” Martens was born and raised in Platte City, Missouri—a small town just north of downtown. After graduating Platte City High School in 2009, Reed attended the University of Missouri-Columbia. He received degrees in Political Science and Business Administration. While at Mizzou, Reed was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity and the club baseball team.
Reed went on to earn his juris doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2016...
