About Lewis Sorokin

Lewis David Sorokin’s practice specializes in Entertainment, Intellectual Property, and Civil Litigation matters. Lewis’ work includes representing clients such as musical artists, producers, DJs, record labels, event promoters, filmmakers, playwrights, online content creators, and creative entrepreneurs.

Lewis earned his Juris Doctor from Drexel University Thomas R. Kline School of Law in Philadelphia, PA with a concentration in Intellectual Property, with honors. There, Lewis was an Editor for the Drexel Law Review from 2020 to 2022. During this time, Lewis authored “Out of Tune: Recomposing the Link Between Music and Copyright” tackling the recent flurry of high-profile music copyright lawsuits against artists including Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry, and others, and proposing reform to American copyright jurisprudence rooted in principles already applied to patent and trademark law. This piece has received acclaim from music industry insiders, entertainment attorneys, and copyright experts.

In his personal life, Lewis is a diehard Philadelphia sports fan, loves photography, and is always excited to try new coffee shops with friends and family.
