About Len Mueller
Len C. Mueller graduated in 1982 from North Carolina State University with a B. S. in English, and graduated in 1985 from The Campbell University School of Law with her J. D. She has been practicing domestic law in Wake County since that time. Ms. Mueller was certified as a specialist in the area of family law by The North Carolina State Bar in 1994. Ms. Mueller is also certified as a Family Financial Mediator. Ms. Mueller credits her former law partners, prominent local attorneys, Richard (“Rick”) Gammon and Russell W. DeMent, for her success as a trial lawyer. She can often be heard saying that she had the privilege of being in partnership with two of the best lawyers in North Carolina, if not the United States. Ms. Mueller also benefited from the sound mentorship of the Honorable Anne B. Salisbury with whom she worked prior to Judge Salisbury’s election to the Wake County District Court Bench.
In 1996, Ms. Mueller left the familiarity and comfort of this partnership to open The Mueller Law Firm, P.A. Since that time, her Firm has had the privilege of serving hundreds of clients in all areas related to family law, including child custody, alimony and complex equitable distribution cases. Ms. Mueller served as an Adjunct Professor at Campbell University School of Law for seven years teaching Family Law Planning. She is a member of the North Carolina and Wake County Bar Associations, and the Family Law Section of the N.C. Bar Association. Additionally, she has served on the N.C. Bar Association’s Family Law Council.
Ms. Mueller balances career with family – her husband, three sons, her goddaughter, and two fur babies, Goggles and Breeze. The Mueller family is growing again in September 2020 with the addition of a daughter-in-love! You may contact Ms. Mueller at
