Kathleen Shorkey Cook was born in Detroit, Michigan, in 1970 and has resided in Madison, Mississippi since 1975. In 1992, Kathleen obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Belhaven College. She obtained her law degree from Mississippi College School of Law in 2006 and was admitted to the Mississippi Bar in 2006.
