Joshua L. Grimes, Esq. is principal attorney at Grimes Law Offices, LLC based in Philadelphia. Mr. Grimes has a national practice focused on business and real estate law, as well as the association, nonprofit, meeting, and hospitality industries. He has particular expertise in legal matters relating meetings and conventions, including contracting and dispute resolution. Mr. Grimes also has extensive experience with zoning matters.

Mr. Grimes is a sought-after speaker on legal issues relating to meetings, conventions, and hotel law. He has appeared at over 100 programs sponsored by Meeting Professionals International (MPI), Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA), the American Society of Association Executives, the Association of Collegiate Conference & Events Directors, American Express Meetings & Events, Connect Meetings, and others. He also frequently presents webinars for organizations such as Meetings Today Magazine and MeetingsNet.

Mr. Grimes is also an active member of MPI and PCMA. He was named 2019 Supplier Partner by the Greater Philadelphia PCMA Chapter.

Mr. Grimes is an elected Commissioner in Lower Merion Township, PA. He is a Chair of the Building & Planning Committee.

Prior to establishing his law firm, Mr. Grimes served in the administration of Philadelphia Mayor Edward G. Rendell. Mr. Grimes also served as counsel to the Philadelphia Historical Commission.
