About Joseph MacHatton

Joseph MacHatton is an Associate Attorney at the firm of Murray & McCarthy Law in Denver, Colorado where he practices business litigation, real estate litigation, and criminal defense litigation. Mr. MacHatton received his law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law, after receiving his undergraduate degree in accounting from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University.

Mr. MacHatton focuses on litigation and has trial experience in federal, state, district court, county court, and municipal court levels. He is a dedicated advocate for his clients, combining his extensive trial experience and knowledge of civil and criminal law with a personal commitment to the welfare and fair treatment of his clients.

Prior to joining Murray and McCarthy Law, Mr. MacHatton was the Lead Public Defender for the City of Westminster Municipal Court while working as an Associate Attorney at Flesch and Beck Law. Mr. MacHatton also worked as an Associate Attorney at Charles H. Torres, P.C., practicing business litigation; medical malpractice; criminal defense, including white collar crime; landlord-tenant disputes; and personal injury.

Outside of the courtoom Mr. MacHatton enjoys spending time hiking and camping in the mountains with wife and two young children, and is an avid college football and basketball fan.
