About John Nobles
John E. Nobles, III focuses his practice on criminal defense. Like his partner Jim Lupton, he handles everything from traffic violations to serious felonies, including homicides. John is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill. Prior to Law School, John served in the United States Marine Corps as a Force Reconnaissance Platoon Commander. He served three combat tours for our country. After being Honorably Discharged as a Captain, John attended Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. John has defended numerous clients and understands the importance and seriousness of an accusation. He strives to get the best possible outcome for each and every client, regardless of how minor or serious the charge may be.
John also understands the importance of having someone in your corner, fighting for you, and is committed to stand by his client in their time of need. He is admitted into the North Carolina State Bar and the United States District Court, Eastern District of North Carolina. He is the former President of the 4th Judicial District Bar Association, and member of the North Carolina Bar Association, Criminal Justice Section, the North Carolina Advocates for Justice, Criminal Defense Section, Carteret County Bar Association, and Eastern North Carolina Inn of Court.
John is Carteret County born and raised. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and diving. John is married and has a son and daughter.
