About James Davidson

James Davidson was born in Austin, Texas and grew up on a working cattle ranch in the Texas Hill Country just outside of Austin. He graduated Cum Laude from Texas State University – San Marcos with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a minor in Anthropology. James attended Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, Virginia where he received his Juris Doctorate. In 2013, James moved to Fort Worth, Texas where he joined forces with his brother Matthew in opening their law practice, the Davidson Law Group.

James has been recognized by Fort Worth Magazine and 360 West Magazine as a Top Attorney and has an AVVO rating of 10.0.

James has a passion for the outdoors and serves on the board of directors for a non-profit organization called the Majesty Outdoors Foundation. This foundation serves our communities by mentoring children raised in single-parent homes and exposing these children to the outdoors and outdoor activities.

James is a member of the Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association, the Tarrant County Bar Association, and the Group Legal Services Association of the American Bar Association. He is also a member of Wealth Counsel, Elder Counsel, and the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys.

James has a passion for helping others through difficult times and this is why he focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning and elder law. Whether he is helping clients who are facing disability, death, or other life changing events, getting the opportunity to assist others during these difficult times is what makes James passionate about practicing as an estate planning and elder law attorney.

James is married to the love of his life, Mara and has two beautiful daughters, Lily and June.
