About Douglas Daniel

Attorney Douglas Daniel has more than three decades of experience in criminal defense, granting him the knowledge and familiarity to take on DWI, assault, domestic violence, drug, federal, juvenile, state, theft and many other types of criminal defense cases. He started his legal practice in 1981 defending accused individuals in their criminal cases after he received his Juris Doctorate from St. Mary's University School of Law. Attorney Daniel has gained ample experience dealing with the various courts, judges, and prosecutors in South Texas.

Of special note, Douglas was elected to membership as a Life Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation in recognition of best-in-class criminal defense service and devotion to the highest traditions of the Bar. In addition, he was asked to be a Founding Member of the American Association of Premier DUI Attorneys (AAPDA). This is a national association of some of the top DWI/DUI lawyers in the country, and it was an honor for him to be asked to be a founding member.
