About Craig Greening

Craig Greening founded Greening Law, PC in 2010. Prior to starting his own practice, he worked at the former district attorney and county attorney's office, where he prosecuted numerous DUI, felonies, and other complex criminal charges. Mr. Greening has been practicing law for over 20 years, and during this time, he has earned a reputation as an aggressive litigator and fierce advocate. He has in-depth knowledge of the criminal justice system as a former prosecutor, and unique insight into the latest defense strategies as a Board Certified specialist in Criminal Trial Law. He brings to each case his high-powered legal advocacy and unwavering pursuit of the best possible outcome.

Craig Greening has been selected as a Super Lawyer in Texas every year to date since 2018. Super Lawyers ranks outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Fewer than 5% of all lawyers in the U.S. receive this honor.

Craig Greening is an American Chemical Society-CHAL Forensic Lawyer-Scientist. The ACS-CHAL Forensic Lawyer-Scientist is one who uses validated and legitimate science for the benefit of justice. These are lawyers who study the science and apply it legitimately in the courtroom. They expose invalid or non-validated science and use valid science in the courtroom. They eschew the smoke and mirrors techniques of old and embrace the science for the benefit of all.

Craig Greening is the author of the Fifth Circuit Criminal Handbook. This comprehensive and useful handbook is the product of years of careful study and practical application of Fifth Circuit criminal decisions (TX, LA, MS). Covering hundreds of criminal issues, the Fifth Circuit Criminal Handbook gives litigators, judges, prosecutors, defense attorneys, law clerks, and paralegals clear, practical analysis tailored to the needs of a busy criminal law practitioner.
