Chris is a native of Upstate South Carolina. He grew up in Spartanburg where he attended Spartanburg High School. After High School, Chris attended USC Honors College where he graduated cum laude in 2012 with majors in both Political Science and Philosophy and a minor in Italian. He then stayed in Columbia to attend law school at USC School of Law, graduating in 2015.
After law school, Chris committed himself to being a public defender in the Upstate, representing those who do not have the means to retain their own counsel. He worked as a PD in Greenwood, SC from March 2017 - October 2018 and in Greenville from October 2018 - present.
