About Barbara Schneider

Barbara Schneider obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her law degree from Tulane Law School. She has been admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the State of New Jersey, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Following her graduation from law school, Ms. Schneider clerked in the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania, first for President Judge Crumlish and then for The Honorable James Gardner Collins. After clerking in the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania, Ms. Schneider moved to Chester County, Pennsylvania and practiced in the areas of employment law, workmen’s compensation, unemployment law, zoning and family law.

Eventually, Ms. Schneider began focusing her practice primarily on family law matters such as divorce, custody, adoption and support and litigation associated with those areas, in Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Berks and Lancaster Counties. Ms. Schneider has been in practice for over thirty years.
